Since Operation Roaring Lion began, the daily reality in Israel has been shaken to its core. Sirens. Shelters. Fear. And for the most vulnerable — Holocaust survivors, widows, orphans, families already on the edge — the question every morning is simply: where will we find food today?
Our team at Leket Israel has not stopped. Not for one day. We are on the ground right now, loading food trucks, delivering hot meals to elderly Holocaust survivors who lived through the Nazi camps — men and women who suffered unspeakable horror — and who now sit alone in their apartments as rockets fly overhead.
We are packing emergency food boxes for mothers sheltering with their children. We are sending digital food vouchers to families who have lost income overnight because their neighborhood has become a war zone. We are doing it because this is what God's Word commands of us.

In recent days, we have distributed 456 tons of fresh produce, delivered 85,519 prepared meals, and issued emergency food vouchers to 1,243 families. Our partner nonprofit network has grown from 42 open organizations at the start of the operation to 150 today — and more families are coming forward every hour. The need is growing.
