The Situation Is Urgent. The Need Is Real.

Since the start of Operation "Roaring Lion," the team at Leket Israel has continued working to ensure nutritious food reaches those who need it most. Our goal is simple but critical: to build resilience through food.
Across Israel, families in need, elderly individuals, and Holocaust survivors are facing increasing hardship. All activities follow the safety guidelines of Israel's Home Front Command, with additional precautions to protect staff, drivers, and volunteers.
Since the operation began, Leket Israel has distributed 456.3 tons of fresh fruit and vegetables, 85,519 prepared meals, and 20,924 servings of soups and hot dishes to the elderly. In addition, 1,243 families received digital food vouchers valued at $135 each.
Our partner network has grown from just 42 open organizations at the start of the operation to 150 today, delivering pre-packed food boxes so families can receive food quickly and safely.
